movie chain...

I'm about to go from Garden State to Killers, so hold onto your pants...

If you haven't seen it I highly recommend you rent it now. I love that it was so raw and in your face. It's an indie film, probably low budget, but I'm not sure. Zach Braff wrote and directed it... It's super good. At the end, the credits started rolling, and I just sat there for a few minutes, processing. There are so many stories within the main story and so much happening.

There is some questionable content, drugs, sex, etc. But it's just part of his journey, him finding out new things about himself, figuring out life. Under the surface, there's a love story (as there always is). All I can say is that it's just emotional. There's so many emotions, you will identify with at least one.
[And to top it off, Bilbo Baggins (Ian Holme) is his dad. Bahahaha I almost couldn't take that part of the story seriously.]

I kinda love Zach Braff... for some reason he reminds me of a slightly less cuteJoseph Gordon-Levitt, but still charming! yum. Which reminds me, if you haven't seen 500 Days of Summer, with him and Zooey Deschanel, get on it! It's a lot like Garden State, but a little less dark. I hated Zooey Deschanel for a few weeks after I watched it, but I'm over it now and back to LOVING her.

Natalie Portman (also in Garden State, if you lost me) is equally adorable as well! She's so innocent and looks super young! Unlike the way she was in Black Swan. Crazy, psycho, naieve (but not-so-naieve all at the same time), ballerina who needs a self-esteem boosts and some serious meds. Which also leads me to ask the question...

How many on-screen orgasms will Natalie Portman have this year??
(Please forgive my frankness, but seriously?! I'm curious.)
So say the least, Black Swan was very interesting. I liked it, but it was very hard to watch. There is nothing feel-good or heartwarming about this story. At the end you're just left sitting there thinking... "What just happened?"

Incidentally, I went to see No Strings Attached friday with Taylor. It was hilarious! Seriously, I wouldn't mind seeing it again! Of course, there's sex and bad languge. It wasn't the normal Chick Flick story line either. It had some deep issues that I feel like a lot of people in the world today have.

and Ashton Kutcher... as cute and funny as ever.  Guess where Ashton Kutcher leads us... To Killers. With Katherine Heigl.

It's cute, but lacked substance. I'd recommend watching it if yo need something light-hearted or just background noise while you're doing something else.

I could continue, but it would probably go on forever. So that's all for today.

The End
