hipster love

Last wednesday Tamura (I've said it before, but please go read her blog. You won't regret it. I assure you) posted this blog entry. It prompted me to make some confessions to her that I've never told anyone...

First of all, in the Harry Potter movies, I really like Snape. I mean I highly doubt there is anyone on this planet that doesn't like Alan Rickman, but he makes me like the character Snape.

Secondly, I really like Draco as well. Again, in the book I hated him, but in the seventh movie I was like, "Well, hellooo"

Snape and Draco, if muggles, would definitely be hipsters:
**They both wear black... ALL. THE. TIME. And for that I'll go on to say that they have a wonderful sense of style.
**They have tattoos... that move. Ok, that's just awesome.
**They are both dark, brooding, emo, conflicted.
**Deep down they're good people, they just have other issues in they're life that make them do crazy things.

I want to have their hipster babies. It's true, I don't know when it happened, but I turned into a hipster.

I get it, I'm a nerd. I've just learned to embrace it. This is the end of Harry Potter madness for the week.
Moving on....

true story....

If you know me or read my blog regularly, then you know how much I LOVE Harry Potter. Seriously... I believe it to be the best series wrtitten, to date. J.K. Rowling, while writing like a heartless b*tch, is a genius. She created an entirely new world and story that will definitely live on beyond her own lifetime and for years to come. My friend Sarah used to tell me, "If you read it, you will like it." I never believed  her, until I read it. It is impossible not to fall in love with the characters and  dive head first into the world of witches and wizards, spells and enchantments, love and war. In honor of my love for these wonderful books.... a picture:

Ron and Hermione.
(not be confused with Ron & Sammi on Jersey Shore-definitely not)
Not the greatest love story ever told, but it's very dear to my heart.

Yes, I'm this much of a nerd. Tamura has been reading Harry Potter with her roommate, but since her roommate is a few books behind her, I've had the lovely privilege of being able to hash things out with her. This has inspired me to reread the entire series... I'm already on book 3. Get ready for quotes and random anecdotes.

Just know that I have to work everyday not to overload my blog with Harry Potter posts/pictures/stories/etc. I do it for you, so be grateful.
