Completely creepy video, but I have a funny story:

I had this song in my head yesterday and was singing it when I got home. Taegan has been hanging out with mom during the day, so she was still there when I got to the house. We were making popcorn, she was watching it pop, and all the sudden I hear sing:
"Oh my my, oh heck yes..."
She was right on beat too.
(I had censored myself, thankfully.)

And this is why I love that little girl to peices.

I got to see this little chick-a-dee last night...

Of course, she doesn't really look like this anymore, but she's still just as adorable. She's even cute whenever she's trying to weasel her mother into reading her one more book before bedtime. If this little face doesn't make you smile, there's something seriously wrong with you.

And naturally, it wouldn't be right if I didn't teach every child I know an inappropriate word... so if you she points at your tatas and says, "Boobies!" Just know, I will take credit for that vocab.

Happy 5th Birthday...

....to my oldest neice.

I remember the day she was born. I was a senior in high school, and I got to miss school (naturally, I thought that would be the best part of the day). We were waiting in the waiting room, for like 2 seconds, before they said she was here. (The wait didn't seem long, like most people say) Then we got to go in, and I saw that precious baby girl for the first time.

I was smitten!

I must say, it's super super CUTE! Four year olds running around attempting to kick a ball is just hilarious! Taelye acually gets into it, sometimes. Other times, she's doing front rolls and bear crawls on the field. I have the cutest neice ever, no big deal.

My baby neice turned 4 on wednesday!! we're having a party saturday w/ a dora bounce-a-bout and everything. i feel old. But i do love thinking about all the memories i have with that sweet little girl.

ps: can i just talk about how white she makes me look in that picture because she has perfectly tanned skin with no freckles... what i would give for a non-burning complexion.
