How do you photograph one of the most secretive countries in the world?

According to Charlie Crane, you photograph what they want you to see.

Wow. This would be such an experience. While I really have no desire to venture into the hell hole that is North Korea, I would love to do this. I'm not sure if you're aware, but people dont just walk into North Korea, much less, walk in with a camera. It is probably the worlds most oppressed and controlled society.

He had a guide, and staged the pictures they wanted him to take.

Why would anyone, and you know someone did, tell them they looked good when the left the house? This is a fashion atrocity that could've been easily avoided. To think their children will someday make fun of them so much for this....

My baby neice turned 4 on wednesday!! we're having a party saturday w/ a dora bounce-a-bout and everything. i feel old. But i do love thinking about all the memories i have with that sweet little girl.

ps: can i just talk about how white she makes me look in that picture because she has perfectly tanned skin with no freckles... what i would give for a non-burning complexion.

so i've always known that i'm very attached to my cell phone...
its the only way i talk to my friends.

thursday the most awful thing happened. i LOST it. yes, lost. absolutely no clue where it's at. i had it when i was with my mom and then when we got out of the car i didn't have it anymore. we looked everywhere, and it was nowhere to be found.

needless to say, i've been phoneless since then, and i'm about to go crazy. hopefully i'll get one tomorrow, but at this point im not holding my breath. i had an engagement party for kayla and mickey at my house yesterday, that was the first time i'd seen or talked to my friends since then.

true story.

so i just read a story on-line (the link is below) about a man that caused $30,000 worth of damage to his house because he was melting the snow with a blowtorch.

seriously?!

how ridiculous can some people get? why would you melt snow with a blow torch in the first place? if you are going to melt snow with a blow torch, why would you get that close to your house? i don't know if insurance is going to cover the damage, but it shouldn't. insurance shouldn't cover moronic behavior.

stupid people get on my nerves.
