"Not my daughter, you Bitch"

At midnight, I was smiling. Now? Not so much.

Was it awesome? Yes.

Did I cry? Only during the 'Snape' part. If you read the books, you know what I'm talking about. If not, you'll find out.

How was it compared to the book? Well done. Obviously some things were changed, but it was about as accurate as Part 1 was.

A few other thoughts:

• It wasn't as long as I expected. 2 hours and 15 minutes from the start of the previews. This surprised me.
• I didn't get the cool Harry Potter 3D Glasses. Sad. Day.
• It was wonderful in 3D, by the way.
• Alan Rickman was wonderful. Seriously, wonderful.
• The entire movie was action... beginning to end.
• McGonagall was a serious badass.
• The guy sitting by Anne was a new breed of Harry Potter fanatic. During a particularly sad scene in which I probably would've cried like a baby if not for him, he whimpered. Seriously, whimpered. Like a child. Obviously, me and Anne had a giggle fest that made us look like we were crying hysterically because we were trying our hardest to hold it in. Seriously, this guy commentated and cried through the entire movie. It was out of control.  
• When did Neville go from chubby little boy to sexy man? Sometime between the Half Blood Prince and the Deathly Hallows, I assure you.

I had no idea...

I ordered a Venti Vanilla Latte at starbucks this morning, but when I got to the window she handed me a Grande. When I asked about it, she said she thought I said Grande, so I'd take it (it's cheaper anyway.) Then she went on to say that a Venti doesn't have anymore espresso in it, the extra is just milk and syrup.

Wow.

Thanks, maam. Saving me some serious cash!!!

Also, this observation: the only day of the week I get to work on time is friday. I think it's because I'm always excited that I'm going to Starbucks, and just that it's Friday in general.

Smile Friday

New York Post #1:
This was the first full day I had in NYC!! We walked around Central Park that morning and did a bunch of other wonderful things that I will tell you about soon enough. I was just playing around with Aperture last night and finally figure out how to make collages.

now that blogger is finally back up...

it's about time. But I'm still missing a few posts I believe. They'll be back soon I suppose.

It's Friday, and I couldn't be more excited. Tamura finished Harry Potter yesterday, Praise the Shepard, so in honor of her I'm posting this little gem. Not her last night in Angelo, but her last weekend. Thinking about his night just makes me smile shakee my head cover my eyes in embarrassment laugh.

IT'S FRIDAY

We are having so many computer problems, the phone is ringing off the hook, and I've been busy since I got here... I think Monday was switched with Friday this week. With that being said, this is going to be short, sweet, and to the point.
7 Things from this week:

1. Skype dates.
This will probably pop up every week. Webcams are infinitely better than just a phone conversation.

2. My new COUCH!
I bought a couch, it is so cute! Cream leather... it's a beaut. I'll post pictures as soon as I move in!

3. The weather.
Earlier this week, that is. I'm done with cold. I WANT HOT! However, my cold-weather outfit today is adorable. So urban chic... like I should be smoking and drinking too much coffee while discussing philosophy and poetry. (I put way too much thought into that.)

4. FORTYFIVE PAIRS OF SHOES.
...after I got rid of a trash bags worth. I started packing last night. (Big thanks to Hillery for keeping me organized.) I found shoes I totally forgot I had. I'm about to reinvent my wardrobe baby!!

5. Seattle.
Jessica and I are going to Seattle in March to see Tamura! We finally bought our plane tickets, it's really happening! I'm so excited, this is a new place for me. Also, #9 on my Life List.

6. Reassurance and Wisdom
I've been struggling a lot with my future, where to go from here, what's next. There are several people in my life that I'm very thankful for.. they constantly encourage me, love me, and guide me.

7. Friday is finally here...
It's been one of those weeks, I'm ready for the weekend... It's almost here. Weekend plans include, Wine Time with Jessica, packing, hopefully a movie!

here's the deal.

So I'm going to try to start doing something a little different. I'm going to try, try being the key word here, to list, every Friday, 7 things that make me happy or that I'm particularly thankful for this week. Here goes nothing...

1. Playtime with the neices.
They both have their own little sense of humor, it's adorable!

2. Finding an apartment.That's right, as of January 28th, I will have a new address.

3. Skype.Praise the Shepard webcams were invented, so I can not only talk, but see my best friends that are more than several states away.

4. These posters.
I definately want one, or two, maybe three, for my new place.



















5. Buttermilk pie

6. Eating lunch with my mom and her good friend, while contemplating George Strait's ass, Matthew McConaughey's abs, and John Mayer's weird sex life.
