Life List Update.

I've marked two things off since New York:
Number 14 - Eat Street food in New York
Number 52 - Teach a friend something.

Eating Street food...
I wasn't going to write about this until I got to it while writing about the trip in Chronological order, but then I decided I couldn't wait. This was not a typical street food experience. This food didn't involve meat, the smell didn't make me want to vomit, there was no smoke being emitted from the cart itself, and it was clean. Walffes & Dinges:

The first time I had a Wafflelini in Brooklyn. It's a mini waffle on a stick with strawberries and bananas. The second time I had a waffle with nutella. Seriously, these could be the best waffles I've ever had in my life. They are absolutely delicious. The way it works, is you pick a waffle and then you pick all the toppings... they even have sundaes with ice cream... it's amazing! This was also the first time I'd had nutella. SO. GOOD.

On teaching a friend something...
Sarah recently bought a Nikon DSLR camera, and by recently I mean over six months ago. She's been using it on auto and taking really good pictures. However, she really wanted to learn how to use more of the features and take better pictures. The first day I was there she took me to Central Park and just took pictures all morning. She really has an eye for photography so she really only needed to learn more of the technical aspects of it. I taught her about exposure, aperture, shutter speed, a little about night photography. We had so much fun experimenting a playing around. She told me before I left that she really had learned a lot form me. I hope that doesn't sound like I'm bragging because that's not the case at all.. I"m just so happy. Sometimes I try to explain things and I feel like nobody understand but me. Photography is such a big passion of mine and I love to share it with other people. Everybody should know how to take good pictures, capture memories... it's important, that is what we leave behind. I got sidetracked... to sum it up, we had a lot of fun and she took some really great pictures. Here a picture she took at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens:
