i have a question...

Is it unrealistic to think that I aspire to have a job that I love?
Ever since I got into college, and I've complained about school, EVERYONE always responds with some smart remark about how you just have to work for the rest of your life. Seriously, is it too much to ask that I have work at a place that I like, with people I am glad to be around? To me, work is like school, but without the homework, and without grades. And to top it off, how do people think that it's encouraging in any way to tell a student that?

Also, why is it so important that I figure out what I want to do for the rest of my life right now? I'm 22 years old, unattached. The only person I have to worry about is me. As long as I can survive does anything else matter... I'll figure out what I want to do eventually, but I feel like this is my time to have fun, be free.

If you disagree.... I don't care.
Just had to get this off my chest.
