Can i just say how much i love fairy tales?! I know, I'm such a girl, but I love them. I don't care whether they are predictable or corny they are just great! What little girl doesn't grow up watching Cinderella and hoping that she finds her own prince charming some day?
I took Taelye Joe to see The Princess and The Frog yesterday and I felt like a little kid again!! (especially since it was also made in normal animation instead of the 3D crap everyone loves these days.) I've almost forgotten how great it is to get lost in a story that totally engulfs your imagination and pulls you in.. like becoming part of the movie. I do that a lot when I read, but not usually in a movie. I just love that "feel-good" feeling!!
Needless to say, I thought The Princess and The Frog was a great movie! Like I said, I loved how it was the new animation, but the old kind that I was raised on. It had a great story line and wasn't totally predictable. It was definitely adorable! I'm going to buy it when it comes out on DVD.
