X-Men: First Class

Me and Tay went to see X-Men First Class last night for her birthday...

Can I just say, although I was lusting over the hot man meat in the movie for most of the time, I loved it! Ok, just kidding, but not really. It was a great movie! The effects, the guys were hot, the story line was wonderful and it was also really cool to get to see where it all started and how it all began. My only complaint for the entire movie is Kevin Bacon. He's acting wasn't bad, it's just me... I can't take him seriously. Wolverine also made a cameo; hello, Mr. Hugh Jackman. Seriously, excellent movie, EXCELLENT!!

Isn't it interesting how guys get way more hot when they speak and they're hilarious? It's like funny hot guy syndrome. It's proof that you just really can't judge a book by it's cover.

Ever since I saw the previews for this, I really wanted to see it... obvi, my spirit animal is akin to an immature 13 year old girl. Taylor and I went tuesday night after getting FroYo at the new place on knickerbocker (TJ's I think). Oh my gosh, it's just like Menchie's... if you've never been there, look it up and go there if there'sone nearby when you're out of town! Anyways... Prom.

Oh wow, I loved it. I told Taylor it had been a while since I've seen a movie that clean. I know it's Disney, but it was super clean, which was good a thing. With it being about Prom they could've made it pretty dirty and cast some hoes, but that  It had a pretty good story line and witty dialogue. 

To top it off, can I just comment on how freaking cute the Male Lead is? 

Holy crap: Feast your eyes on Thomas McDonell

He plays the bad boy... he rides a motorcylce, has long hair, and constantly has the brooding look on his face. He's somewhat reminscent of Judd Nelson in the Breakfast Club, which was kind of the point, I'm gathering. In real life he graduated with an art degree from NYU. He's my soul mate, for shiz. AND I looked it up, he's 24, so I'm not a creeper.

I'm having an excellent morning!!
I actually woke up late, but it didn't get me down...
I had time to eat breakfast - toast with cream cheese and strawbery fruit spread.
Make-up didn't get neglected either.

I walked out of the apartment ON TIME, got in the car, and rocked out to some Michael Buble.

That man could sing to me all day everyday... HOLY CRAP! The voice, the looks, the perfromance. Yes. Please. His voice is on the verge of perfection and everytime I hear it, I think of the Wedding Date... excellent movie btw. Seriously, if you haven't seen it, go rent it. NOW!

But I digress... if this morning is any indication of how the day is going to be, it's going to be a good great day! Happy Thursday!

i got a city love

Have you ever had that feeling, you see something, a picture, a city, a peice of art, and you just get that feeling? That feeling in your heart, and in your gut. It's like there is no word that can adequately express your emotions, no sentence can contain all the thoughts you possess. You're just left sitting there with a fleeting feeling that your life has changed because of what you just saw. If you haven't ever felt that way, I truly feel sorry for you. Let me tell you, it's worth the wait, it's worth the search. Find it, see it, feel it, love it. You'll never want it to go away.

I've written all this just so I could describe to you, that's how I feel when I see this picture. I saw it, and I could smell it, I could hear it, I could feel the energy. I belong here. This is what I want. This is where I want to be. One day, hopefully, this craving will be satisfied. Until then, I'm going to go visit as much as possible, and live it up everytime I'm there.

It also makes me think of John Mayer's City Love (hence the title)

I'm finally getting around to watching the last season of Greek. I have a serious, SERIOUS, crush on Scott Michael Foster, or Cappie, whatever. Again with the bad boy, no ambition, care-free type. Love it.

Well I defiantely haven't met them yet. That's for sure...

I'm on the verge of giving up on men all together. Seriously, they jsut need to step it up...
here's a list of things I look for in a husband:

1. Makes me laugh.
2. Can wear skinny ties.
3. Older than me. I'm done with guys younger than me.
4. Honest.
5. Has a career, and knows where he's going in life.
6. Spontaneous.
7. Loves me even when I'm bitchy.
8. Is capable of living on his own. I want to be a wife, not a mother.

I wrote these down as they came to mind. Wearing skinny ties is not the second most important quality I look for in a man :)

day 6 - your favorite superhero and why.

I have been waiting, somewhat impatiently for this one. I love all superheroes! Really, I do. I love that they always have a love interests and I love that they're always rescuing people in general. I think I secretly want to be rescued, especially a superhero. It was tough to pick just one. I like Batman, but the whole bat thing kind of grosses me out, especially in Batman begins when he was actually in a Bat Cave. Thats nasty. Bats are nasty. I really like Wolverive, but all that hair... NO THANKS! Spiderman was a close runner-up, but I'm not much of a Toby McGuire fan, and like it or not, the people who play superheroes in movies really makes a difference in your opinion of these things.

So, the winner is... IRONMAN (probably no surprise to any of you.)

Here's 7 reasons why I Love Ironman:

• He's a super hero because he's a genius. Not because he was born with a genetic flaw or got bit by a bug. Yes, I know thats how Batman is, but Bats. Gross.
• I love that he has major personality flaws... he's the epitome of narcissism, but for some reason I find it endearing. Like Chuck Bass... if you watch Gossip Girl.
• He's extremely wealthy. Judge me if you must, but I want man that can take care of me.
• The red and gold suit. I like. :)
• Pepper Pots. How adorable are they together? I wish I could be her.
• Robert Downey Jr., I know he's old. I don't care. He is one sexy man.
• He's reckless.

good movie.

i know. i know. i only ever post about movies. but i love them.

this movie was great!! very adenturous. and i never want to miss a chance to see robert downey jr, that hunk of a man (i dont care if he's old and a former addict-HE'S HOT), on the big screen!! with that being said, i probably have a baised opinion. but taylor and tony thought it was good too!
