I went to see Friends With Benefits last week.



It was hilarious! I definitely thought it was better than No Strings Attached with Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman. I think thats's probably because Mila and Justin are just better. The ending was predictable, but that was probably the only thing. I kind of assumed it was going to go a certain way, but it didn't, so that was good. All around it's just a cute romcom!

I love J.T., he's hot, he's funny, he can dance, he can sing... which brings me to my next question: Why did he stop singing and dancing like this:

Completely creepy video, but I have a funny story:

I had this song in my head yesterday and was singing it when I got home. Taegan has been hanging out with mom during the day, so she was still there when I got to the house. We were making popcorn, she was watching it pop, and all the sudden I hear sing:
"Oh my my, oh heck yes..."
She was right on beat too.
(I had censored myself, thankfully.)

And this is why I love that little girl to peices.

If i had a nickel...

...for every time I heard this song in the past week, I'd be rich. I like it.

Seriously, I don't think they have made any songs that I don't like.
I'm particularily in love with this video... it's absolutely adorable. I love all videos that are like a mini-movie.

Maybe I love it cause it's filmed in Europe, or maybe because the male lead looks like Ryan Gossling in the Notebook. Either way, I love the video as much as I love the song.

I've inadvertently (I just had to sound that out and use spell check) gotten into the habit of posting about my favorite music. Today it's Good Life by One Republic. It's their newest single, but in my defense it was my favorite song on the album, before it was famous. I just love the lyrics, the whistling, the drums... It's just a fun song. So, Enjoy.

And I hope it makes your Monday a little more bearable... After all, this is gonna be a Good Life :)

I'm not exactly sure where I have been the past few years, but it obviously wasn't on the "Adele's a genius bandwagon." Apparently I was on the "I didn't even know Adele existed train." That train is supposedly on the same track as the "I didn't know Florence + The Machine existed" train.

It's a great song!! I just love her voice, the rhythm, and the lyrics.

The video is very Avatar meets Star Wars meets Braveheart meets and African Tribe...

kudos to Florence + the Machine for merging all of those very different elements into one coherent /stellar video!!
