now that blogger is finally back up...

it's about time. But I'm still missing a few posts I believe. They'll be back soon I suppose.

Anywho..I have this little Gem for Smile Friday:

(Jessie St. James... BAH.)

Thank goodness for Rebecca Black for supplying us with slightly absurd and ridiculously addicting lyrics that we can all sing in a semi-naseley voice while annoying everyone within a mile radius.
You Rock Ms. Black, you rock.

For the sake of everyone...

I'm going to condense about 3 posts into 1. All regarding movies/tv shows.

 Glee Prom

I think this is my favorite episode to date... especially in regards to Kurt. Kurt, is my favorite character, hands down. I don't know why I love him so much but I just do. When Darren Criss is added to the equation it's like the icing on the cake. The Glee Prom was just like every prom, I think that's why I liked it. There was drama, romance, and comedy. Two thumbs up Glee, well done. Can I just say how much I love the fact that Glee makes fun of itself on the show... I've noticed it before, but when I watched Prom there was one specific part with 'Run, Joey Run' that was hilarious.
    Something New
Netflix recommended this movie because of the five stars I gave Love & Basketball. I must say it didn't disappoint... granted, it was a typical RomCom. You knew exactly who was going to end up together 5 minutes into watching. However, that's what I love about RomComs... Comedy and Happy Endings. Yes Please. And anyway... how hot is Simon Baker? He's like melted butter on hot toast... Whoa, too far?! Probs... moving on. Overall, I'd give it 7 out 10 stars.

Something Borrowed

I took my mom to see this for her Mother's Day present on Monday. I had read the book about a year (or more) ago and loved it so I kinda figured the movie would be a for sure win. It was... this is one book to movie transformation that I will endorse. With the exception of one part of the story changing, the movie was dead on. John Krasinksi played Ethan. Lord have mercy, the facial expressions he can make is absolutely hilarious... He is the humor in the movie. He delivers lines flawlessly. In fact, his character was a lot like the character he played in It's Complicated, which was wonderful. Well done John, well done. Kate Hudson played the bitch. Wow, I've never her seen her like this... I have to admit I really like her as funny Kate, but she pulled off bitchy Kate without a hitch.

I don't know if you remember....

this post, but this post is in regards to it. So read it, if you haven't already.

The oppurtunity was a trip to Germany for discipleship and photography training. The program is 6 months long and involves a 6-8 week mission trip in Asia or Africa. Well, I applied to go and I got accepted. I couldn't be more excited or nervous. I know it is going to be an amazing experience. More details will be coming... but for now I just had to share my wonderful news!

I'M GOING TO GERMANY!!
for six months!

I also posted here about the director of the program. He's such a talented photographer!

that moment...

at work, when you answer the phone and forget that you are listening to Glee on Groovshark.
At this particular time Holly Holliday is singing...
"Do you wanna touch (YEAH), do you wanna touch (YEAH) me there? Where?!
....Every girl and boy needs a little joy."
(Not that I don't agree, but totes inapropro for sure!)

....and that's when I start praying the person on the other end can't hear it.
