went on a road trip with the rents this week. we left tuesday at lunch...
san angelo - san antonio
ate a p.f. chang then went on to houston.

spent the night in houston
took dad to the doctor...

houston - austin
ate pappadeaux's. spent the night.
dad worked while me and mom shopped.

then: HOME.

it's always nice to come home. it's fun to leave, but nothing is beats coming home.

i finally jumped on the colored jeans bandwagon. i bought some cute red ones at the Gap Outlet, along with several outfits. [pictures to come as i wear them]

On the feather-dad dad-feather issue...

"What the... you have a purple rat tail in your hair!!"

....and by purple rat tail, he actually means pink feather.

It's comments like these that make me realize just how much I'm going to miss him so much when I leave.

I cannot believe...

...that my dad neither commented nor acknowledged the hot pink feather and lightening that happened to my hair this morning.

seriously?! It's a HOT PINK feather... he didn't even make fun of it.

Me: Hey, I'm thinking You, Me, Pool, and Beer when I get off.
Mom: Glad we're on the same page.
Me: YES! I just have to grab my swimsuit and I'll be there.

Mom: GOOD!! I have Dos Equis, Landshark, Coors Light, and Miller Light.
Me: Glad we're on the same page.

Mom: Love you.
Me: Love you, too.
BYE!!

• pick up the bux... venti iced caramel macchiato come to momma!
• clean mom's house.
• watch taelye play soccer.
• swim @ the rents.
• drink a marg.

it's going to be a hard day if you couldn't tell.
